Obinna Simon, popularly known as Mc Tagwaye, hails from Anambra State born and brought up in Katsina state, ingawa LGA to be precise. Obinna started his life after graduating from the prestigious College of Education Federal College of Education Katsina, he started his teaching career in Katsina in 2008 – 2015.
In 2015/2016, he got a job with WAMCO the producers of Peak milk where he was appointed the Area sales supervisor.
In 2016/2017 Obinna started his comedy career where he mastered the act of mimicking the former President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, he became very popular and loved by many in Nigeria and outside Nigeria. He was doing business and politics even while doing comedy until 2022 when he decided to join politics fully where he campaigned for President Ahmed Bola Tinubu nation wide.
Obinna Simon is the President and Founder of Tagwaye Foundation, a foundation that has reached to many vulnerable communities in Nigeria. The foundation has given over a hundred children scholarships ranging from primary school to secondary school.
As a business man, he is the CEO of Mild and Resolve Merchants LTD, Mc Tagwaye Entertainment Co. LTD, Tagwaye Foods LTD among others
He is happily married with two kids, a girl and a boy.
